There are landscapes where everything seems frozen, icy, almost inhospitable. Yet, in the heart of these polar immensities, there always remains a point of light, a refuge.
Refuge Boréal is part of this quest: to capture the unexpected warmth of a shelter in the middle of the ice, sublimated by the dreamlike hues of my Violet-Blue-Pink Period .
In this imaginary scene, a golden igloo stands, illuminated from within, like a promise of warmth and comfort in the face of the cold immensity. Around it, the snow is tinged with pink and bluish reflections, while the sky unfolds a hypnotic spectacle: the aurora borealis, in waves of emerald green and deep purple, pierces the starry night.
This contrast between the harshness of the setting and the interior light symbolizes the balance between isolation and refuge, between vulnerability and hidden strength.
Each stroke of pastel reveals this duality, carried by the unique palette of my Violet-Blue-Pink Period , where reality flirts with dream.
Refuge Boréal is an invitation to rediscover the essential, where raw nature and inner light meet.
