Created with dry pastels on a monumental scale (100x70 cm) ,
Having spent over 100 hours playing Kasumi, it's the fourth game in my collection.
"Souls of the World".
KASUMI, breath of Japan.
Its cherry blossom petals settle on her skin like a poem.
Mount Fuji, a torii gate and a zen garden crown it with harmony.
Her gaze is gentle and eternal.
She is the soul of the sacred lands.
Kasumi stands in the heart of a forgotten garden. Each petal of the cherry blossoms, light as a breath, seems to dance around her, guided by an invisible wind. Her traditional tunic follows her movements with a natural grace, as if the fabric itself were breathing. The delicate patterns that adorn it tell ancient stories: floral symbols that evoke the ephemeral nature of life and the silent strength of women.
Her fan, painted with floral motifs, symbolizes the breath of the wind that carries away thoughts.
Kasumi is not simply a figure—she is a presence, an invitation to contemplation and meditation. Her distant gaze hints at a rich inner world, filled with calm and secrets.
The dry pastel captures every nuance of light on her skin, every reflection on the silk of her tunic. The meticulous details—from the folds of the fabric to the glints of light on her fan—create a harmony between movement and stillness, between the tangible and the mystical.
Kasumi is more than a portrait: it's an invitation to immerse oneself in a suspended world, to experience the poetry of fleeting moments and the beauty of silence. This work is designed to transform a space, awaken emotion, and create an atmosphere of elegance and mystery. It reminds us that art is not only seen, but felt.
