"Amsterdam is a city of water and light, but also of contrasts and urban poetry.
With Jordaan Violet , I wanted to capture the soul of the Jordaan district, known for its peaceful canals, colorful facades and suspended atmosphere, while incorporating it into my own artistic vision."
Here, the Amstel stretches out in shimmering reflections, bordered by iconic facades in surreal hues. A bicycle, an essential symbol of the city, stands there, frozen, a witness to the passage of time.
The red cobblestones, the narrow houses, the rounded bridge… each element takes up the visual codes of Amsterdam, but transfigured by the deep and vibrant hues of my Violet-Blue-Pink Period .
In this work, reality flirts with imagination, the everyday becomes poetic, and colors intensify emotions.
It is a reinvented vision of Amsterdam, bathed in a dreamlike atmosphere, between urban sweetness and luminous melancholy.
Jordaan Violet is at the crossroads of my inspirations: travel, architecture, and this constant search for a different perspective on familiar places.
