"Japan is a country of contrasts: tradition and modernity, gentleness and power, nature and architecture are constantly merging.
With "Awakening to Fuji ," I wanted to pay homage to this duality, offering a reinvented vision of an iconic landscape, tinged with my artistic universe."
In this composition, the cherry blossoms reveal their pink hues, the pagoda stands elegantly at the water's edge, and on the horizon, Mount Fuji rises, motionless and majestic.
But here, the colors don't follow the classic codes: deep blues, nuanced pinks, and subtle purples transform this setting into a dreamlike tableau. This work belongs to my Violet-Blue-Pink Period , a chapter in my creative process where I push the boundaries of reality through color.
Awakening to Fuji is both a tribute to eternal Japan and an invitation to escape into a reinterpreted landscape, where poetry takes precedence over simple representation.
